Plastic/Aluminum
Nearly all automobiles on the roads today have a radiator made of plastics tanks and aluminum core.. We can repair damaged aluminum when possible. Plastic tanks are rarely fixable. Leaks usually occur in the header or from under the tabs. In most cases a complete radiator is needed.

Bolt on Tanks
Many larger industrial equipment and machinery have a heavy duty rad with steel tanks that are bolted to the core. Must commonly these rads get a new core, we remove the tanks, sandblast and repair and install tanks on new copper core with new gaskets.

Solder on Tanks
Older vehicles and many equipment and machinery have this type of radiator. Commonly have a copper core with brass tanks soldered on each end. All damage is repairable if there is no rot. If rot is present then typically a new core is ordered. Tanks are removed, sandblasted and soldered on the new core.

Heater core
Older vehicles and commercial vehicles have a copper heater core that commonly leaks. Generally we get a new core and the originally tanks or removed, sandblasted and installed on new core. Very similar to a radiator. Most cars since year 2000 have aluminum heater cores.
